THE BAND

For nearly 7 years, Justin Dean Schaffer (guitar) and Eric Riegler (mandolin) have been developing a musical partnership that perceives no boundaries. After playing together in a number of bands, the acoustic duo became founding members of Hickabee in 2020. Their music spans many genres that has been described as new acoustic, bluegrass, country, folk and jazz. The vocal compositions of Justin combined with the instrumental creations of Eric, and the addition of Joy Maples on bass, Kelly Hagerman on electric guitar, and Katie Champlin on fiddle rounds out the ensemble with a full, fresh 5-piece sound.

Hickabee can be found almost anywhere, from headlining festivals to small private parties. They just released their self-produced, debut album "Redux", that was mixed and mastered in Dolby Atmos Spatial Audio. With nearly 30 songs in their original catalog and their own private recording studio, you can expect waves of new music from the band in the upcoming months.
